ArtBIO NATURAL FIBER COMPOSITE (NFC)

ArtBIO is a new natural fiber composite (NFC), developed recently by Art Plast and introduced to series production. ArtBIO composites are produced out of polypropylene (PP) combined with natural fibers content up to 30%. We also plan to implement production of grades with bio-content above 40% soon. 

PROCESSING

ArtBIO can be processed by both injection molding and extrusion. ArtBIO is processed as standard plastic compound, the only limitation is processing temperature, which should be kept under 200°C. ArtBIO pellets should be dried before processing.
