ARTWOOD WOOD-PLASTIC COMPOSITE (WPC)

ArtWOOD is a new wood-plastic composite (WPC), developed recently by Art Plast and introduced to series production. ArtWOOD pellets are produced out of polypropylene (PP) combined with wood fibers (WF) from 20% to 40%. We also plan to implement production of grades with wood content above 40%.

PROCESSING

ArtWOOD can be processed by both injection molding and extrusion (extrusion compounds available soon). ArtWOOD is injected as standard plastic compound, the only limitation is processing temperature, which should be kept under 200°C. ArtWOOD pellets should be dried before processing.
